Transfer FAQs

What does GEX One offer?

GEX One focuses on remittances and currency exchange, with CNY/RMB, NZD, AUD, USD and HKD as its core business currencies, alongside other currencies including EUR, GBP and SGD. Check available routes, payout methods and customer eligibility in the app.

What do RMB and CNY mean?

RMB is a common abbreviation for renminbi, while CNY is its standard currency code. The app and transaction records generally use CNY.

Where can I check rates and fees?

Before confirming an order in the app, review the applicable exchange rate, fees, amount sent and estimated amount received. Rates may change with the market and quote validity. This website does not provide executable live quotes.

How can a recipient receive money?

The app includes recipient options for Alipay, Chinese bank accounts and overseas bank accounts. Availability depends on the route, currency, recipient eligibility and payout requirements. Check the options shown for your order.

Does a completed exchange mean my recipient has been paid?

An exchange within your account and a payment to an external recipient are separate steps. Check the relevant transfer order. Delivery depends on payment confirmation, verification, bank processing, payout method and public holidays.

What do I need for my first transfer?

Prepare a valid identity document, your account contact details, and the recipient’s name and receiving details. Proof of address, payment purpose, source of funds or other supporting documents may be requested. Follow the checklist in the app.

How are incorrect payment details handled?

Contact in-app support promptly with the order number and the information you need to change. Amendment, cancellation or return options depend on the processing status and payout channel. Avoid making a duplicate payment before checking.

How do I track a transfer?

Filter the app’s transaction history by currency or transaction type, then open the relevant order to view its status, amounts and details. For further assistance, provide support with the order number and payment date.

Can I send money directly on this website?

Use the GEX One app to open an account, verify your identity, exchange currencies and send money. Explore this website for services, guides and frequently asked questions.

How can I download GEX One?

The official iPhone download link will be made available after release. Use this website’s app page to find the official link and avoid installation from unknown sources.

Can I pay as soon as a top-up order is created?

Wait for the receiving account to be assigned and check your notifications. Once assigned, review the bank details and payment reference for the current order before making your transfer.

How do transfers between users differ from bank transfers?

The app’s transfer feature lets you find a GEX One recipient by ID, username or phone number. Payments to external bank accounts use the relevant recipient and bank transfer flow. Check each corresponding order separately.

How do I respond to a document request?

Open the document request in your app profile to view the required files, related transaction and deadline. Check review notifications after submitting. If a new upload is requested, follow the reason given and provide clear, complete files.
