Why verification is required

New Zealand’s anti-money laundering and countering financing of terrorism framework requires relevant financial service providers to identify and verify customers and understand transactions. Provide accurate and complete information when requested.

Information you may be asked for

Depending on the account and transaction, you may be asked for identity documents, contact details, recipient information, the payment purpose, and supporting documents relating to source of funds or other checks. Requirements will be explained during the process.

03

Further information and processing

Incomplete information or further checks may affect account or transaction processing times. Open the document request in your app profile, submit the required files by the stated deadline and check your notifications. If a file is returned, review the reason before resubmitting.

04

Protecting your information

Do not share passwords or one-time verification codes. Check receiving details and payment instructions. Contact in-app support promptly about unfamiliar transactions or suspicious requests.
